Experience the Best: Top 10 Hiking Trails in the USA

Welcome to Van Life

Hi guys! We’re Ian and Anna, two avid van lifers who’ve been living in our diminutive Ford Transit Connect for some months. A significant part of our time was spent on a month-long road trip out west. In this article, we’re thrilled to share with you our beloved hiking trails. If you have any recommendations, please share them in the comments. We’re eager to explore more trails across this beautiful country!

And guess what? We’re starting our next road trip in a week! It’s a secret we’ll reveal in our next video, so stay tuned for that. We’ll also be releasing our USA road trip travel guide on May 17th. It includes the best free campsites, hiking trails, and places that are a secret – for now! Remember, while embarking on these trails, always stay on the track, take care of your wastes, respect the environment, and ensure you respect the earth for generations to come.

Get ready for the adventure

Fasten your seatbelts as we journey through ten amazing hikes in America!

#10. Tamanawas Falls

Located in the heart of Mount Hood, Oregon, Tamanawas Falls trail is an excellent way to kick off your morning. We recommend starting as early as possible to avoid the throngs. However, note that to enjoy this and many hikes in Mount Hood, you’ll need a recreation pass. The trail leads to the base of the massive 110-foot tall Tamanawas Falls and exposes you to eye-catching boulders and volcanic rock cliff faces.

#9. Cleetwood Cove

Situated in Crater Lake, the deepest lake in America, the Cleetwood Cove trail is an exciting trail that allows swimming and cliff jumping. Just ensure you’re prepared for the cold temperature of the lake water.

#8. Delicate Arch

If you’ve ever set your eyes on the Utah license plate, then you’ve seen a replica of the Delicate Arch, the most famous arch in Arches National Park.

The Wonders of Delta Lake

#2. Delta Lake

Located in Grand Teton National Park, this eight-mile hike was the most challenging we ever did. But at the top of Delta Lake, you’ve got some of the bluest water in the U.S and a hypnotizing view of Teton Mountain peak.

#1. Angle’s Landing

For adventure seekers and adrenaline junkies, the trip to Angel’s Landing is your dream come true. Located in Zion National Park, this hike is known more for the journey than the destination, but be warned, it’s not for the faint-hearted.

Conclusion

We hope you found this guide helpful for your own road trip adventure! Although we cannot fully encapsulate the joy and awe of experiencing these hikes in person, we hope you are inspired to take a trip and experience these wonders first hand! Remember always to prioritize safety on your adventures and treat our earth with respect so future generations can enjoy these beautiful sights as well.
